InfoSpire ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the InfoSpire mobile application.
Data We Collect
InfoSpire collects minimal data necessary to provide the service:
- Product Information: The product name and description you provide to enable AI-matched opportunities and personalized content generation.
- Usage Analytics: Anonymous usage patterns (features used, session duration) to improve the app experience. No personally identifiable information is linked to these analytics.
- Account Data: If you create an account, we store your email address for authentication and product notifications.
- Generated Content: Launch plans, visual cards, and copy generated within the app are stored to your account for later access.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not track your browsing activity outside the app.
- We do not sell, share, or trade your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
- We do not use your data for advertising or ad targeting.
- We do not collect location data, contacts, or device identifiers beyond what is standard for app analytics.
Third-Party Services
InfoSpire integrates with the following third-party services:
- Public APIs (Hacker News, GitHub): Used to fetch trending content. These requests do not contain your personal information.
- OpenAI API: Your product description may be sent to OpenAI to generate launch plans, content, and insights. OpenAI does not store this data for model training purposes under our API agreement.
- Apple App Store: Payment processing for any in-app purchases is handled entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption:
- Data in transit is protected with TLS 1.3 encryption.
- Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256.
- Saved opportunities and generated content are synced to your account and can be deleted at any time from within the app.
- We conduct regular security reviews and follow best practices for cloud infrastructure security.
Data Retention
We retain your account data and generated content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymous usage analytics are retained in aggregate form indefinitely for product improvement purposes.
Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of all data associated with your account at any time.
- Correction: Update or correct your personal information through the app settings.
- Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app.
- Portability: Export your saved content in standard formats.
- Opt-out: Disable analytics collection through the app settings.
Children's Privacy
InfoSpire is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.
